The greater Pittsburgh region has become a national hub for innovative learning with many examples of STEM, STEAM, maker-centered learning, project-based learning and technology enhanced learning. In response to these innovative educational programs, there have been many transformations of classrooms, libraries, as they create a regional growth model for innovation in space design.
Gregg Behr, Executive Director of the Grable Foundation and founder and co-chair of Remake Learning, is at the center of this hub for innovative learning. At Grable, Gregg directs an education grants portfolio that represents some of the nation’s most innovative education initiatives that are genuinely remaking learning.
During our conversation Gregg will discuss his work at Grable, his involvement with Remake Learning’s Blueprint for Learning initiative and his current leadership of Remake Learning Days Across America.
